Depok — Kepala BBPPMPV Bisnis dan Pariwisata, Sabli, S.H., M.H., bersama dengan jajaran manajemen, telah mengunjungi kantor Badan Pelindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (BP2MI) yang berlokasi di Jalan MT Haryono Kav 52, Pancoran, Jakarta Selatan, pada hari Selasa, 14 Maret. Sebelumnya, Kepala BBPPMPV Bisnis dan Pariwisata bertemu dengan Kepala BP2MI, Beni Ramdani, saat memberikan pengarahan bagi calon pekerja migran Indonesia di Aula Semeru, kantor BBPPMPV Bisnis dan Pariwisata pada Desember 2022 lalu.

Kehadiran BP2MI di BBPPMPV Bisnis dan Pariwisata adalah dalam rangka persiapan pembekalan pemberangkatan calon pekerja migran Indonesia. Hal ini selaras dengan tugas dan fungsi BBPPMPV Bisnis dan Pariwisata yang meliputi pelaksanaan penjaminan mutu peserta didik, sarana dan prasarana serta tata kelola pendidikan vokasi. Sementara BP2MI bertanggung jawab dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja khusus untuk penempatan di luar negeri. Dalam konteks ini, BBPPMVP Bisnis dan Pariwisata merasa berkewajiban mendukung penuh kiprah dan eksistensi BP2MI yang telah berjibaku memperjuangkan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) yang berperan bukan hanya sebagai tulang punggung perekonomian negara, tetapi juga sebagai urat nadi dan pejuang devisa negara.

Sabli, S.H., M.H. akan terus menjalin silaturahmi dengan BP2MI untuk membangun kolaborasi dalam rangka pemberdayaan lulusan SMK bidang Bisnis dan Pariwisata dalam konteks optimalisasi serapan lulusan SMK ke dunia industri. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi tingginya tingkat pengangguran lulusan SMK seperti yang dilansir oleh BPS pada Agustus lalu.

Kepala Bagian Tata Usaha, Nana Halim, S.E., M.M., menyadari bahwa peserta didik SMK perlu dibekali dengan pengetahuan tambahan, seperti penguatan bahasa asing bagi mereka yang tertarik untuk meniti karir di industri luar negeri seperti di Korea, Amerika, Timur Tengah, Eropa dan lainnya.

Pada akhir silaturahmi, Kepala BP2MI, Beni Ramdani, menuturkan kisah sukses BP2MI dalam mengawal para pejuang devisa negara yang dirangkum dalam ebook profil PMI yang inspiratif pada tahun 2022. Melalui buku itu, beliau memberikan pesan kepada para pekerja migran Indonesia supaya mengambil manfaat dari sumber yang tercantum dalam buku tersebut.
