Jakarta, Kemendikbud — Aplikasi Rumah Belajar kini tersedia dalam versi gawai (gadget). Pengguna gawai dengan sistem operasi Android dapat mengunduh aplikasi Rumah Belajar melalui Google Playstore. Kehadiran versi gawai ini diharapkan memudahkan siswa dan guru dalam memanfaatkan Rumah Belajar, sehingga pembelajaran bisa dilakukan dimana saja dan kapan saja.

Aplikasi Rumah Belajar dikembangkan oleh Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Pustekkom) Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan  (Kemendikbud). Kepala Pustekkom, Gogot Suharwoto, mengatakan pengembangan aplikasi Rumah Belajar ini berangkat dari kesadaran tren siswa generasi Z, yang merupakan pengguna asli dari perangkat digital.

Kehadiran aplikasi Rumah Belajar versi gawai merupakan komitmen Kemendikbud menyajikan aplikasi yang lebih ramah pengguna. “Sebagai bentuk komitmen Kemendikbud untuk memberikan pelayanan yang maksimal dalam menyediakan aplikasi pembelajaran yang lebih user friendly, kini telah kita luncurkan Rumah Belajar versi mobile,” kata Gogot pada jumpa pers Anugerah Kihajar, di Balai Kartini Jakarta, Kamis (14/11/2019).

Selain lebih mudah dalam pencarian konten, versi Rumah Belajar untuk gawai ini, menyajikan tampilan yang lebih menarik sesuai dengan tren aplikasi zaman sekarang. “Aplikasi ini dilengkapi juga dengan fitur notifikasi konten terbaru, sehingga pengguna akan mendapatkan pop-up notification apabila ada konten terbaru dan kemudahan registrasi karena pengguna dapat login dengan media sosial mereka. Selain itu, konten bisa diunduh dan dimanfaatkan secara luring,” kata Gogot menambahkan.

Untuk memaksimalkan desiminasi pemanfaatan Rumah Belajar, Kemendikbud juga menjaring guru-guru pilihan dengan serangkaian pelatihan berjenjang yang menghasilkan Duta Rumah Belajar di masing-masing provinsi. Duta Rumah Belajar diharapkan dapat menjadi mesin penggerak utama yang mampu membangun budaya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah-sekolah, baik untuk guru maupun komunitas.
