Kepala PPPPTK Bisnis dan Pariwisata, H. Sabli S.H., M.H., mengapresiasi program Sharing Knowledge from National and French Chef, yang dinilai berhasil mensinergikan antara dunia industri dan pemerintah dengan baik. Kegiatan tersebut sangat selaras dengan instruksi presiden (Inpres) Nomor 9 Tahun 2019 tentang revitalisasi sekolah menegah kejuruan (SMK) dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas dan daya saing sumber daya manusia (SDM) Indonesia.

Beliau berharap kegiatan tersebut akan menginspirasi lebih banyak industri, untuk terlibat langsung dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan SMK di Indonesia melalui pelatihan guru-gurunya.⁣

Sambutan tersebut beliau sampaikan pada kegiatan kerjasama vokasi program kuliner, yang mengangendakan unjuk kreasi festival of French Pastry and Bakery 2019, yang diselenggarakan di Hotel Horison Bekasi, Jawa Barat, 18-20 September 2019. Program ini diinisiasi oleh Direktorat Pembinaaan SMK serta mendapat dukungan dari Institut Francais Indonesia, PPPPTK Bisnis dan Pariwisata, Hotel Horison Bekasi, PT Metland dan beberapa perusahaan peralatan/perlengkapan kitchen serta bahan dasar pembuat roti dan kue.⁣

Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian program yang dilaksanakan sejak Juni lalu. Berbekal ilmu dari para pakar National and French Chef, guru yang dilatih turut mendiseminasikan kepada para guru dan siswa tata boga. Lebih dari 1.000 siswa berlatih selama dua bulan dengan membuat berbagai macam pastry khas Perancis. Selanjutnya terpilih 40 siswa yang berhak memamerkan hasil kreativitas di depan para French Pastry and Bakery 2019. ⁣
