Ketua Komisi X DPR RI Syaiful Huda mengingatkan masih ada jarak (gap) dalam pendidikan vokasi dan dunia usaha/dunia industri di Indonesia. “Harus diakui masih ada gap yang perlu diselaraskan, antara alumni pendidikan vokasi dan pendidikan kejuruan, dengan kebutuhan dunia usaha dan dunia industri”, ujar Syaiful Huda melalui ruang virtual saat menjadi narasumber Materi Kebijakan Pendidikan di Indonesia, pada program Upskilling Reskilling Berstandar Industri Guru Kejuruan SMK Tahun 2023 Gelombang 2, Jumat (7/7).

Ia mengungkapkan, jarak (gap) terjadi pada aspek standar lulusan vokasi di Indonesia, dimana standar tersebut belum sama dengan standar kebutuhan pekerjaan di Indonesia. “Ini pekerjaan rumah, standar pendidikan vokasi harus sama dengan standar kebutuhan pekerjaan,” katanya menegaskan.

Menurutnya, tingkat keterserapan lulusan SMK di dunia kerja rata-rata nasional hanya sekitar 40 persen. Hal itu diasumsikan oleh berbagai kalangan yang mengatakan bahwa lulusan SMK berkontribusi besar pada Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT). “Ini harus dituntaskan, bahwa semua lulusan sekolah kejuruan harus mampu diserap oleh dunia usaha dan dunia industri,” harapnya.

Selanjutnya, jarak (gap) menyangkut soal rumusan kurikulum. Kurikulum pendidikan di sekolah kejuruan, dengan materi skill dan kompetensi yang menjadi kriteria masuk di dunia kerja masih berbeda. Sehingga, diharapkan kedepanya, kolaborasi antara dunia pendidikan dan dunia industri dapat menjangkau pada level perumusan kurikulum yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. “Kemendikbudristek bersama Komisi X DPR RI terus berusaha menyelesaikan persoalan jarak tersebut” jelasnya.

Selain itu, untuk semakin relevannya pendidikan vokasi ke depan, Komisi X DPR RI bersama Kemendikbudristek, sudah merancang berbagai program prioritas termasuk Program Upskilling Reskilling untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kompetensi pendidik dan peserta didik.

Program Upskilling Reskilling Berstandar industri Guru Kejuruan SMK Tahun 2023 dilaksanakan BBPPMPV Bispar Kemendikbudristek dalam 4 gelombang, meliputi 9 Kompetensi Keahlian yang telah dimulai Maret s.d. Agustus 2023. Kegiatan ini diikuti total sebanyak 2.440 Guru SMK bidang bisnis dan pariwisata dari seluruh wilayah Indonesia.

Kepala BBPPMPV Bispar Sabli., S.H., M.H., menjelaskan, alur pelaksanaan program Upskilling dan Reskilling dimulai dari pelatihan secara daring 10 hari, penguatan industri secara daring 3 hari, magang langsung (luring) di industri selama 9 hari, dilanjutkan dengan sertifikasi industri 2 hari dan 3 hari penyelarasan industri dengan membuat teaching project, yang merupakan komitmen peserta untuk menerapkan budaya industri di sekolahnya masing – masing.
