Mendikbud Lantik Empat Pejabat Tinggi Madya

Jakarta, Kemendikbud — Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) Nadiem Anwar Makarim melantik empat Pejabat Tinggi Madya di lingkungan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud). Empat Pejabat Tinggi Madya Kemendikbud yang dilantik berdasarkan Keputusan Presiden Republik Indonesia (Keppres) Nomor 175/TPA Tahun 2019 yang ditetapkan pada tanggal 5 Desember 2019.

Pembangunan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) unggul menjadi prioritas pemerintah saat ini. Disebutkan Mendikbud, pemerintah mendorong terwujudnya SDM yang berkarakter pekerja keras, dinamis, terampil, dan menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Kemendikbud memiliki peranan penting dan strategis untuk menyiapkan SDM unggul dan berkarakter.

“Saya mohon pejabat yang baru dilantik untuk membuat terobosan yang lompatan besar untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut,” disampaikan Mendikbud Nadiem Anwar Makarim dalam sambutannya di Grha Utama, kantor Kemendikbud, Jakarta, Senin (16/12).

Ainun Na’im dilantik sebagai Sekretaris Jenderal menggantikan Didik Suhardi. Guru besar Universitas Gadjah Mada ini sebelumnya memangku jabatan Sekretaris Jenderal Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Kemenristekdikti) pada Kabinet Kerja.

Kepada Sesjen yang baru saja dilantik, Mendikbud berharap agar semakin mempertajam fungsi koordinasi. Khususnya setelah kembalinya urusan pendidikan tinggi. “Agar program-program kementerian tidak saling tumpang tindih. Benar-benar memberi dampak dan berjalan secara efektif dan efisien,” pesan Mendikbud Nadiem.

Mendikbud mengucapkan terima kasih atas dedikasi dan pengabdian Sekretaris Jenderal Kemendikbud periode 2014 — 2019, Didik Suhardi. “Saya berharap Bapak terus menyumbang pemikiran dan karya bagi Kementerian maupun bagi bangsa yang tercinta,” pesannya.

Sementara itu, Muchlis Rantoni Luddin dilantik kembali dalam jabatan Inspektur Jenderal (Irjen). Kepada Irjen, Mendikbud berpesan agar Inspektorat Jenderal tidak hanya berperan sebagai pengawas. Tetapi, semakin berperan untuk memperkuat fungsi pencegahan.

Hilmar Farid dilantik kembali sebagai Direktur Jenderal Kebudayaan. Kepadanya Mendikbud meminta agar Direktorat Jenderal Kebudayaan mampu memperbanyak program dan kegiatan yang melibatkan para pemuda dan generasi milenial. “Agar tumbuh kecintaan kepada budaya bangsa sendiri. Dan bisa menandingi dahsyatnya arus budaya luar, supaya budaya kita tidak asing di mata bangsa sendiri,” tutur Mendikbud.

Kemudian, Chatarina Muliana Girsang dilantik sebagai Staf Ahli Mendikbud bidang Regulasi Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Mendikbud menitipkan tugas untuk menghadirkan terobosan dalam bidang regulasi yang menyentuh persoalan pendidikan. “Dan benar-benar menjadi solusi yang tepat,” kata Mendikbud.

Turut hadir menjadi saksi pelantikan, Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan Pendidikan Masyarakat (Dirjen PAUD Dikmas) Harris Iskandar serta Dirjen Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan (Dirjen GTK) Supriano.

Untuk membangun SDM unggul, tidak mungkin dilakukan secara sendiri-sendiri. “Mari kita bersinergi dan berkolaborasi untuk menghadapi tantangan dan mengatasi persoalan pendidikan,” ajak Mendikbud di akhir sambutannya. (*)
