Kepala PPPPTK Bisnis dan Pariwisata, Sabli, S.H., M.H., membuka Pelatihan Pembuatan Guidebook ESD UNESCO Timor Leste, di PPPPTK Bisnis dan Pariwisata, Selasa (7/1). Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada 7-10 Januari 2020 tersebut, diikuti oleh pejabat Kementerian Pendidikan Timor Leste Bidang Kurikulum, guru bidang tourism, dan perwakilan UNESCO.
Kepala PPPPTK Bispar menyambut baik kerjasama antara PPPPTK Bispar dan Kementerian Pendidikan Timor Leste tersebut. Dalam sambutannya, Kepala PPPPTK Bispar juga memperkenalkan organisasi yang berada dalam naungan Ditjen GTK Kemdikbud, yang terdiri dari 14 UPT diseluruh wilayah Indonesia. Secara khusus Ia menjelaskan tugas dan fungsi PPPPTK Bispar, dalam meningkatkan kompetensi Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan jenjang SMK. Kepala PPPPTK Bispar juga berharap agar kerjasama tersebut berkelanjutan.
Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali peserta dalam membuat Guidebook ESD. Selain itu, menjamin dan memastikan peserta dapat menyusun Guidebook ESD sesuai dengan filosofi ESD yang ada.
Hasil yang diharapkan dari pelatihan tersebut adalah agar Kementrian Pendidikan Timor Leste dapat memahami konsep dan praktik integrasi ESD ke dalam Guidebook. Selain itu, meningkatkan kompetensi dan kapasitas guru tourism untuk memahami konsep dan praktik integrase ESD di sekolah.
